The first Young Researchers Workshop in Speech Technology will be held in UCD, Dublin, Ireland, on the 25th April 2009, under the sponsorship of the Centre for Next Generation Localisation (CNGL).

The aim of this workshop is to help PhD students to meet other PhDs who work in the same area, talk about their work and get feedback on their work.

This workshop is focused on students who are doing their PhD in speech technology. For students who are starting their PhD and would like to have feedback on their work in progress, a special one page paper format is available. More advanced PhD students will have the opportunity to share their experience by presenting their work based on a full 4 pages paper. The Paper toolkits can be found at the call for papers page.

The workshop will cover all the scientific and technological aspects of speech and language.
